BLACKBERRY or DASH?


I'm having a difficult time choosing which phone to get with my new cellular service. I'm switching from Cingular/AT&T to T-Mobile. My AT&T payment is a bit expensivo so I'm switching to the new plan offered by T-Mobile (1000 whenever minutes for $39.99/mo). I like these two phones. I'm more interested in the Dash because it can capture video and BlackBerry 8100 can't. Also the Dash's screen is wider. Although I do like the little roller ball on the BlackBerry. These two phones are each $99 with a new plan w/T-Mobile. I really wanted the new pink BlackBerry 8130 since it does capture video, but it is only offered by Verizon. Their plans are too expensive so I'm choosing T-Mobile.
Let me know what phone you all use and which phone you wish you had or would recommend.

remember, no matter which company u use, if you get a blackberry, you usually end up paying more because of the extra "blackberry plan".

I'm not sure you can switch out of Tmobile but most companies have a 30day guarantee.

Holy crap balls! That is a great deal! I think I'll go with Sprint and a non-blackberry phone. T-Mobile gives 20-30 days to cancel... so it looks like they're out :-) Thanks a lot!!

Hey Fernando, Sprint says that plan is only if you're referred by a Sprint employee. Can you send me the email address of the friend who referred you?

I got the pink Centro by Palm. I went into a Sprint store and used it a little. I liked it, feels like a kids' toy phone :). It's out of stock so it will take 2-5 bus. days before it's shipped.. AAaaa another week w/o a phone!

FYI, sprint customer service sucks, you email instead. Any problems, let me know.

I would actually call in and say you are very disappointed in the delay in getting your phone and ask for a discount on your service. :)

Anyways, head up about when you get your bill, anything wrong, let me know. They tend to mess things up on the first bill.

Did you click on the free unlimited txt messaging? I hope you did, now Mari will have one more person she can text. :)

Yeah, everytime I call in I get a different person with a heavy accent, hard to understand.
I hope they get my bill right, but if they don't I'll call in... I've spent a lot of hours on the phone arguing about bills. I look at all my other ones and if there's a problem they get a call from me immediately.

YES, I did get the unlimited text messaging! I saw that and jumped right on it.
